Our Phased Growth Plan
We are building a nonprofit thrift model that grows carefully, transparently, and responsibly.
Every phase exists to ensure that charitable impact always comes before expansion.
We do not grow because we can.
We grow only when the model proves it serves people well.
Phase 1 Fundraising + Online Presence (Current Phase)
We raise the capital required to open our first physical store while maintaining a transparent online presence.
During this phase:
- Every donated dollar is tied to a clear purpose
- Our budget and use of funds are publicly explained
- Donors can see how future store revenue will fund charitable projects
We do not sign leases or hire full staff until funding is complete.
Phase 2: First Store (Learning Phase)
Our first store is intentionally treated as a learning environment.
We focus on:
- Real‑world operations
- Volunteer engagement
- Responsible part‑time staffing
- Proving that store revenue consistently funds real charitable projects
This phase allows us to refine systems before expanding — not after mistakes are multiplied.
Phase 3: Three Stores (System Building)
With proven stability, we open three locations to test repeatability.
At this stage we:
- Standardize processes that work
- Centralize accounting and charity project oversight
- Transition key part‑time roles to full‑time staff
- Ensure every store operates under the same transparency standards
Growth only continues if impact increases proportionally.
Phase 4: Ten Stores (Controlled Expansion)
With mature systems in place, we expand to approximately ten stores.
At this scale:
- Multiple charity projects are funded consistently
- Financial and project oversight is independently reviewed
- Public impact reporting becomes routine, not optional
We confirm that growth strengthens—not weakens—trust.
Our Mission: Giving with Purpose and Precision
At Donation Projects, our mission is to uplift communities through transparent, purpose-driven giving—guided by the values of compassion, stewardship, and service. Inspired by the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19–20), we seek to make a meaningful impact both locally and globally, sharing love through action and empowering others to do the same.
We work directly with clients and volunteers to build custom programs, each focused on a specific area of need. These programs are broken down into SMART Projects, ensuring every initiative is:
- Specific – Clearly defined goals
- Measurable – Progress tracked through tangible outcomes
- Achievable – Realistic budgets and timelines
- Relevant – Aligned with community values and client missions
- Time-bound – Structured with deadlines and milestones
This model empowers donors to give with confidence and clarity, knowing their contributions are making a real, measurable impact—and fulfilling a higher calling to serve others.
🏫 Real-World Example: Partnering with Schools
Take a school setting, for instance. We collaborate with school officials and community partners to identify needs across departments like Athletics, Music, and Science. Each department becomes a program, and we help define its most pressing needs through a wish list brainstorming session.
Example SMART Projects:
- Two new soccer goals at $2,000 each, needed by June 1 next year
- A new volleyball net costing $1,000, needed by September 1 this year
Each item becomes a SMART Project—with clear goals, budgets, and timelines. We repeat this process for every department, ensuring all needs are translated into actionable, trackable projects.
🔄 How It Works
Once all projects are defined, the school’s designated Point of Contact (POC) prioritizes them based on urgency and impact. Then:
- A portion of every sale is credited to the top-priority project until it’s fully funded.
- Once delivered, we move to the next project in line.
- This cycle continues—ensuring ongoing impact and accountability.
✅ Why SMART Projects Matter
We don’t just fund programs—we design them with precision to make every dollar count:
- 🎯 Targeted – Each project addresses a specific, tangible need
- 🔍 Transparent – Donors can track progress and outcomes
- 🤝 Interactive – Donors choose which projects to support and can even volunteer or visit the missions they fund
- 📈 Impact-Driven – We measure results and share stories of transformation
✝️ Faith in Action
Our work is rooted in the belief that giving is a form of discipleship. By helping communities thrive, we live out the Great Commission—“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…”—through acts of service, generosity, and love. Every project is an opportunity to reflect Christ’s compassion and bring hope to those in need.

Isaiah 6:8 " Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”
